MEGGIE FOR MARC JACOBS SPRING/SUMMER 2011

Play Nice made this film for Marc Jacobs at the beautiful James Hotel in New York City to introduce the Marc Jacobs' 2011 Spring/Summer lines. It stars Wilhelmina Model Meggie Weinheimer.

 

PARIS FALL/WINTER 2011 FASHION WEEK HIGHLIGHTS

Paris fashion week has come to an end. It was a Wilhelmina wave from Marike's presence in Haider Ackermann's bravado singular designer collection, to Keke's appearance at John Galliano's final show at Dior,Marike, Dempsey and Xiao in Thierry Mugler with Nicola Formichetti bringing back the entertainment on the catwalk (gaga for Gaga!), Dempsey and Marike working the looks in a highly fetishized Louis Vuitton, and finally Marike and Melodie in mesmerizing Miu Miu.

It is fair to say that all of us fashion nomads are exhausted from this fall winter season tornado....And in the end I guess that makes us "tornado chasers."  If only we had red ruby slippers!

The Wilhelmina models who helped make the shows come alive this hectic season have worked diligently through the cattle calls, the cramped casting hallways, the frantic running from casting to casting, the art of getting lost in the rain and barely making on time, and forgetting to do anything else but be a model, going to bed late and waking up early, forevery being on call for fashion's constant schedule changes....We salute you!
